The Nike Mercurial Vapor XVII Elite FG Cleats integrate Air Zoom propulsion technology designed for firm-ground surfaces. This system provides responsive lift aligned with performance benchmarks, supporting propulsive strides with every touch. The outsole features a wave-like traction pattern and cascading studs to maximize surface contact for controlled grip during rapid accelerations.

To maintain consistent traction through dynamic moves, the largest stud height matches the mid-row studs. Advanced stud configurations combining evolved chevron and blade designs work with the pattern to support acceleration, deceleration, and swift cuts. The upper consists of a full Flyknit construction enhanced by Atomknit on the sides.

Nike Gripknit improves ball touch at high speeds, while micromolding texture forms to the foot for a secure, weather-agnostic grip. These materials create the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, helping players stay closer to the ball and react faster on the field. The resulting fit is snug and track-spike-inspired, optimized for agility and stability.
