Designed for firm-ground surfaces, the Nike Mercurial Vapor XVII Elite FG Cleats integrate an Air Zoom propulsion unit to support responsive lift during every stride. The upper features a wave-like traction pattern with cascading studs, where the largest stud height matches the mid-row studs to maintain consistent traction through dynamic moves. Advanced chevron and blade configurations work with this surface-area-focused pattern to support acceleration, deceleration, and swift cuts.

A full Flyknit upper is reinforced with Atomknit on the sides to reduce weight while maintaining support. Nike Gripknit enhances ball touch at high speeds, and a micromolding texture forms to the foot for a secure grip across varying weather conditions. These materials create the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, helping players stay closer to the ball and react quickly on the field. The silhouette provides a snug, track-spike-inspired fit optimized for rapid movements.
