Designed for firm-ground surfaces, the Nike Mercurial Vapor XVII Elite FG Cleats integrate Air Zoom propulsion units to support responsive strides. This technology provides lift aligned to performance benchmarks, aiding efficient momentum transfer during touch points. The outsole features a wave-like traction pattern and cascading studs that maximize surface contact for controlled grip during rapid accelerations.

Consistent traction is maintained because the largest stud height matches the mid-row studs. Advanced Chevron and blade configurations combine with a surface-area-focused pattern to support acceleration, deceleration, and swift cuts. Nike Gripknit enhances ball touch at high speeds, utilizing a micromolding texture that forms to the foot for a secure grip in various conditions.
